A new country of virtual wonders provides total sensory immersion. Just enter it, choose an identity and enjoy all your whims. A criminal drama and a disturbing one thriller of science fiction that explores the consequences of living our private dreams. An examination of moral responsibility for virtual worlds and a tough warning on the future of the Internet.

The play moves between two worlds. The first is an opaque reality, where a detective interrogates the creator of a virtual realm. A realm where your most hidden desires are realizable. The second is the realm itself, where you can literally sniff, touch, savor… and where, to further complicate matters, connected users from the real world can create avatars and choose their sex or age… any age … The piece shows a high-tech digital world where you can live in a virtual reality and commit crimes without suffering consequences. The investigation of a virtual realm and its activities, as realistic as they could be in life, is a slippery ethical terrain if we have the freedom to explore even the most deviant corners of our imagination, without any limit, our most perverse fantasies. A clash of wills that leads to a result that no one could have imagined. A work of suspense, ingeniously constructed and fiercely intelligent, which forces us to face deeply disturbing questions about the limits of reality. Just because it doesn’t exist doesn’t mean it’s not real. This is also the web, the web: alternative lives in a future that is already here.
