La Odisseu Scholarship It is part of the Creation Spaces Eòlia i + D together with the Eòlia Theater and with the collaboration of theBarcelona City Council, through theBarcelona Institute of Culture. Its main objective is to support emerging companies in the country for the creation, dissemination and exhibition of their new shows. Thus, the Odysseus Aeolian i + D Scholarship aims to provide a space for rehearsal and experimentation where to try and develop the theatrical languages of these companies.
In this 2021 edition, a project will be selected which will receive:
- A financial aid for the Production and Exhibition of the project of 5.500 €.
- Artistic residency of 6 or 7 weeks (depending on needs) part time (4 hours daily) in the Aeolian Creation Spaces and R&D.
- A week of technical residency in the theater.
- First public presentation of the show at the Teatre Eòlia with 70% of the net box office.

'THE SECOND BEST', a project by Berta Giraut and Ester Villamor.
A project that delves into the figure of that person who remains in the shadows, who is present but never comes to the fore.
