SYNOPSIS
The action takes place in Seville in the 11th century. Don Dídac and Don Gomes, Count of Gormaz, have decided to unite in marriage their children, Roderic and Ximena. But when the king chooses the preceptor of the prince to Don Dídac, the Count foolish and offends the latter, buffering him. Don Dídac, too old to fight, leaves revenge in the hands of his son. Roderic will be divided between his love for Ximena and his duty to avenge the honor of his father.
The work is written in Alexandrian verses of 12 syllables and the translation into Catalan is by Josep Maria Vidal.
