THE AWARENESS OF SPRING (Spring Awakening) is a musical pop rock that deals with teenage love, repression, fear, abuse of power and misunderstanding. Melchior is a clever and astute young man who, thanks to the books, has learned different aspects about human sexuality that society strives to hide and scratch taboo. He is the confessor of his friend and classmate Moritz, who tells him he feels tortured before the erotic dreams that accompany his nights. On the other hand, the sweet Wendla that fails in the attempt that her mother tells him how the babies are swallowed, is reunited with Melchior and among them something special arises.

The musical has made it possible to swithe viewers from around the world since its release 2006 year on Off Broadway in New York. Considered a piece of worship, it has had several international productions, and has premiered in New York (Broadway), London (West End), Vienna, Buenos Aires, several tours around the United States and the United Kingdom ... and now, Barcelona. The original Broadway production in the 2006 year, won 8 Tony Awards and 4 Drama Desk Awards.

The show, which contains 19 musical numbers, will be directed by Marc Vilavella (Dark Men, Mar i Cel, La Barni Teatre), the choreography will be by Ariadna Peya (Les Impuxibles, Grease, the musical), the musical direction by Gustavo Llull (Poe de Dagoll Dagom, Operation Triunfo) and the Catalan translation by David Pintó (MARES I FILLES and FOSCOS MEN). Jordi Bulbena (TeatreNacional de Catalunya, Teatre Lliure, Comediants) will create stage design and costumes.
