Description of the project

Summer 1993 will choose to be nominated for the "Oscar to the best non-English speaking film. This was decided by the Academia del Cine Español, which selected the film of Carla Simón as a candidate to make way for Hollywood. To get a place at the Oscars ceremony to be held on March 4 in Los Angeles, Summer 1993 still has two stages in which it will have to convince the members of the prize committee. First they will select nine non-English language films, and from this list they will make the final choice of the five nominees that will compete for the "Oscar. If finally the prize was held, it would be the first movie in Catalan that would win the statuette in this category.
