Description of the project
The three components of the group THE MAMZELLES THEATER, PRibó classroom, Bárbara Mestanza and Paula Malia, alumni, presented the musical “My sweet country” at the Poliorama Theater in Barcelona with the direction and text ofÀlex Mañas!
SYNOPSIS
My Sweet country… My sweet country… My dream country… It is the land longed for by three young people who resist leading an austere life. They become luxury prostitutes and meet the social elite of their country, but not satisfied with the money they dream of changing the world. The ambition to leave a mark, to be news, and not to pass without grief or glory leads them to narrate their lives as if it were a docudrama. They debate between cruel reality and stories. The solution is to tell the truth.
