Introduction to interpretation with Salva Soler

TEACHER:

Salva Soler, Actor, poet and teacher of interpretation and Spoken Word.
He is one of the world leaders in Slam Poetry and Spoken Word. He has performed in 14 different countries, in spaces such as the European Parliament (Belgium), the Casa del Lago (Mexico), the Maison du Maisonneuve (Canada) or the Philly Pigeon (USA) and invited to some of the most important festivals in the world, such as FLIP (Brazil) or Kosmopolis and BCNegra (Barcelona). He was Spanish Champion and bronze medalist at the Poetry Slam World Cup in Paris in 2016.
As a teacher, he has conducted training for teachers at the Shakira/Pies Descalzos Foundation (Barranquilla and Cartagena de Indias, Colombia), and Master Class at the Bryn Mawr College University (Pennsylvania) or the Tec de Monterrey (Mexico), among many others
He has been a teacher of interpretation at Eòlia since 2016 (where he also received his degree) and gives workshops at high schools and universities throughout the state.
As an actor he has worked in "Peer Gynt" by Calixte Bieito (Greek theater), "Lorca eran todos" by Pepe Rubianes or "1 other musical" by Alicia Serrat and in series such as "El cor de la ciutat" or "Com si it was yesterday" (TV3). He has also written/directed plays such as "L'equilibri" (Nau Ivanow and Teatre del Raval) or "Collage" (Versus Teatre).
Currently, he brings his theatrical poetic shows "Directo!" (Sant Jordi de Nadal TR3SC, Cathedral of Bcn, Terrats en cultura, Matadero Madrid...) and "Combate poético a 5 asaltos" (Casino Aliança de Poblenou, Aribau Cinemas, etc.).

His TEDx talk, Do you think you don't like poetry?, has become a benchmark in education.
