ENUMA ELISH, ESAD's TFC for stage direction and dramaturgy by Ester Villamor with Anna Maruny and Martina Tresserra at the Institut del Teatre, opens on Thursday 20 July.

SYNOPSIS
Two scientists at a space station are responsible for creating a being able to produce oxygen to help survive humans on a planet Earth where the levels of CO2 begin to be incompatible with life.

People flee to the Poles. The System has created temporary shelters, can not face a massive exodus at the moment.
From the outer space Dra. Puig and Dra. Reig will observe how everything changes down there and how the being they are creating is more special than they thought.
Enuma Elish is a theatrical, visual and sound show that draws thematically from the dystopian narrative and the perception of the great closeness of the beginning and the end in everything.
I would like to quote the visionary HGWells and his desired epitaph that never came true: “I told you so. You damned fools ”. And to another great man who has accompanied us during these months of creation and who has fed us, Samuel Beckett: “The air is full of our cries. But the custom is a great mute "
