We will be working with monologues and scenes to improve or just learn the craft. Create an actor with their own criteria is basic for the acting business.

Natural acting, building character, vulnerability, work on feelings and tips on how to become a better Film/Tv actor.

At the end of the course we will film the monologues so the actors can have it for their showreel.

With Tony Corvillo

ACTING FOR THEATRE (6 hours)

This subject seeks to explore complex structures in the development of the actor’s imagination related to action and target. To achieve the objectives, the structure of the course is based on a clear division between two types of combined work:

  • Acting training (Daulte system). 6 weeks. Practical improvisation work based on the definition of repertoire exercises that seek to find an optimal relationship between the performer’s action-reaction capacity and its association with the concept of emotional stake.
  • Text work (10 weeks). Exploration of scenes based on Beckett’s literary work, Pinter, Ionesco, or other authors related to the absurd. We take these authors as an excuse to develop the actor’s relationship with the discovery of the action. The irrational goal. The unleashing of the absurd. The character. Invention of the action. The reinterpretation of the text. The use of the object.
