UNRWA Catalonia

We open a second edition of the project PALESTINE ON STAGE, a collaboration between UNRWA (United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) and Eolia CSAD.

This proposal poses a intensive creative theater process aimed at raising social awareness about the Palestinian reality, combining tools from the theatre of the oppressed with contemporary creative theatre methodologies. The work focuses on: the collective exploration of themes about global justice, the generation of powerful scenic images, and the construction of a short piece with dramaturgical coherence.

Participation is completely voluntary and free., and they can participate ends to 10 students or graduates from AeoliaThe calendar is from April 24 to June 12, 2026, with work and rehearsal sessions on Friday from 16 to 19 p.m.The solidarity project will be coordinated by the Rosa May (Aeolian), the Joel Alvarez (Creative Earthquake) and the  David Rodriguez (UNRWA).

The project consists of 4 phases:

   – Exploration and generation of materials. Friday April 24, 2026 16-19pm

   – Creative and improvisational theatre. Friday 8 and 15 May 2026, 16-19pm

   – Rehearsals and staging. Friday, May 22 and 29, and June 5, 2026, 16-19pm

   - Exhibition open to the public in room E11 of Eòlia. Friday, June 12, 2026 at 20pm. Possibility of repeating the piece at the Palestine en Escena festival. Sunday November 29.
