RAMON, Critics Award for Best Text 2019
Review by Roser Garcia Guash of Teatre Barcelona
“Mar Monegal is the author and director and deserving of the Prize [Critics' Award for Best Original Text] that was awarded to her. It is a current text, biting, satirical, agile, funny and critical […]
Francesc Ferrer is the interpreter of this monologue. He knows how to convey all the moods imposed by the text. […] His bewilderment, discouragement, sadness, irony and fear reach the farthest seats from the stage. Simply sublime. ”
Ramon is just separated from the Patri, and while looking for a flat, he settles in his parents' teenage house. There he returns to the guitar, the static bicycle and all the cassettes that carry him to 90 years.
From the security of his room, he recalls his past, but what he can not imagine is that, in the immediate present, his life is about to change and become a real roller coaster.
The play will be seasonal November 8 to December 29 in the Atrium Room (Consell de Cent street, 435, 08009 Barcelona).
Advance sale at the Aeolian reception, for students at € 9,50 and for outsiders at € 12. Tickets are € 19 at the Atrium box office.
