Mercè Rodoreda's novel comes to the Sala Gran in a staging by Carlota Subirós, who has already brought us closer in an intimate and contemporary way to Catalan classics such as Maria Rosa i sun sun, by Àngel Guimerà.

Natàlia is a humble woman from the neighborhood of Gràcia. The river of his life runs through the upheavals of the second Republic, the war and the misery of the Franco regime. A character played by eleven actresses of different ages and profiles, in a kind of scenic and feminine kaleidoscope that reveals nuances and shows us contrasts in the protagonist's life.
