Description of the project
La XXIX edition 2026 of the Max Awards of the performing arts was held this year at the grand Roman Theater of Merida. On a stage full of history and great figures of the contemporary theatrical scene, Ton Vieira, alumnus ofEolia CSAD, won the Best Actor award for his role as in the play The Third Escape by Victoria Szpunberg.
This story follows the trail of a family over 100 years during the journey of three generations marked by multiple exiles. A work that travels through three countries and three different decades: Ukraine, 1920; Buenos Aires, 1970; and Barcelona, 2020. Dressed as death, Vieira accompanies the characters as a narrator, acting as a chronicler of history in a fundamental role.
The former student of the FPA acting and camera department has participated in several film, television and theater projects that have led him to shine on stage. An actor with various registers and great projection.
