When you find yourself in a borderline situation, you need to make a decision that will condemn your future in an immediate way. Being an entrepreneur in times of crisis is not at all easy, but being a corrupt entrepreneur is much more common.
Maurice Nevelle portrays the latter. He flees the city looking for a place to end his life. He doesn't know where he ended up. Is it a pier? An abandoned estate on the outskirts of any city? A slum? What is certain is that it has reached the other end of the city, the suburbs. Monique, Maurice's secretary, realizes that they are not alone, someone is watching them from the darkness, it is the wild dogs that live there, the ones who will make Mr. Nevelle pay a very high price for having entered his land.
Will they be able to get out of this hole?
