Carlo Goldoni himself, in his Memoirs, explains that it is what made him pay attention to the figure of Molière in order to devote his first work to Martellian verses (Alexandrians): "Two anecdotes of his life Private they gave me the argument. The one is her planned marriage to Isabelle, who was the daughter of Béjard; and the other defending his Tartuffe. These two historical facts fit so well to each other, that the unit of action is perfectly observed. " We also took the opportunity to put Tartuf de Molière on stage. Pirouette is okay, right?
