The company Parking Shakespeare brings a new version of Nit de Reis with Mateu Bauçà in the cast.
The company Parking Shakespeare brings a new version of Nit de Reis, adapted by the actress, playwright and director Marta Aran, who has made a modern-day revision of William Shakespeare's classic. Nit de reis is a comedy of love tangles, where different ways of loving and different ways of understanding identity and gender roles are considered. Marta Aran wanted to bring this classic closer to Queer philosophy and to be inspired by the aesthetics of the Drag world, especially the Drag Kings, a minority group within this world.
