Iván Clemente premieres a musical on Madrid's Gran Vía

The former student of Planter and Aeolian Lyrics, Iván Clemente, will be part of the cast of the musical Dear Evan Hansen which will start the season in Rialto Theater in Madrid this October. After having been on Broadway and in London, this large-scale production lands for the first time in the capital with 14 performers on stage who will make the melodies of the composers of La La Land, The Greatest Showman and The City of Stars shine.

The musical tells the story of a 17-year-old boy with social anxiety disorder who, on the recommendation of his therapist, begins writing letters to himself in which he must explain why “today will be a good day.” The plot becomes complicated when his letter is found by a conflictive classmate, Connor Murphy, played by Iván Clemente who plays a provocative character.

With several accolades and a Grammy Award for Best Album Musical Theatre al sac, this is one of the most influential musicals of the last decade.
