The Campus de les Arts organizes its first annual meeting on Friday 23 February at the Poblenou Campus of the UOC.

The Arts Campus is a platform that brings together, since the beginning of 2019 and under the coordination of the University of Barcelona, ​​several universities and the nineteen university or higher artistic education centers in Catalonia, which offer degrees and postgraduate degrees in the disciplines of fine arts, design, music, theatre, dance, cinema or conservation and restoration.

Its main purpose is to significantly increase the third cycle and interdisciplinary artistic research, including the knowledge transfer, and the extension and specialization of the training of art education teachers, having in the future more than 6800 m2 in the old factory site of Can Ricart in Barcelona.
The Arts Campus also wants to be a network of collaboration and institutional projection of all its members.

The objective of the Meeting is to generate a space of reference, relationship and exchange for the entire Campus de les Arts community and in particular for its Work Groups. A space open to all the teaching staff, researchers, workers and management and management teams of the centers that make up the Campus to increase its
their knowledge and their ability to work together.

This 1st Meeting will focus on the presentation of the first call for interdisciplinary artistic research of the Campus de les Arts, as well as the presentation of lines or research activities of the centers open to other centers. It will also host a seminar on art teacher training, a seminar on doctoral research based on artistic practice and a work day for the centers' communication teams. Also, you can find one there
