The festival RETAIN grows in its sixth edition moving to the CaixaForum in Barcelona, from November 24 to December 3.
In the new headquarters, the festival will make a bet on masterclasses and round tables with luxury guests like Samantha Hudson, Estela Ortiz i Ophelia Carbonell and will deal with themes with a strong feminist perspective such as the coordination of intimacy in shootings, the figure of femme fatales, pop divas and heartbreak and the cinema of Greta Gerwig.
Now Film library of Catalonia, the festival will present the Barcelona premieres of films awarded at international festivals such as Io Capitano, Silver Lion for Best Director by Matteo Garrone in Venice, How to have sex, best film in the Certain Regard section at the Festival of Cannes and Robot Dreams, Grand Audience Award at the Sitges Festival

EÒLIA Superior Center for Dramatic Art participates with a Masterclass: Interpretation in front of the camera: the selftape, Saturday 25 November from 16pm to 17.30pm by theAlicia Verdés.
Selftape is a form of remote casting where actors and actresses have to record themselves. This is an increasingly widespread practice among casting directors and often raises many questions: What is the best type of plan? how do i get good lighting who gives me the replica? what should I (not) say in an on-camera presentation? How can I differentiate myself from other performers? and, as a director, what instructions should be given when asking for a selftape?
