Dubbing

Eòlia CSAD offers within its training offer different intensive dubbing courses, from 16 years. These courses are aimed, on the one hand, at acting students who want to learn the necessary techniques to dub a film or TV series. And on the other hand, at those people who, without previous studies in acting, want to discover this sector of the audiovisual arts. The aim of the courses is to train the performer in the art of dubbing, both from the artistic and technical point of view.

In the course of'Introduction to dubbing a practical immersion is carried out in concepts such as vocal articulation, lip sync, speed and versatility in front of the dubbing microphone, script adjustment, the rhythm and dramatic emotion of the original actors on the screen, instant memory... Practices are carried out with takes (dubbing units) in different genres, such as fiction, cartoons and documentaries...

In the advanced courses we work on specific genres, such as documentary or children's animation, and we focus more on character work and scene interpretation. In the specific course of Children's animation dubbing, we will dub specific scenes from Disney films, and we also give musical theater students the opportunity to dub songs.

We provide all the dubbed material in these courses to students so that they can incorporate it into their curriculum.
