Eolia It regularly offers its students training in dramaturgy with top-level professionals from the local scene (Barcelona, Catalonia). They are responsible for providing pedagogical supervision throughout the four years of the degree.
Masterclasses at national and international level with professionals of recognized prestige in the field of the first line of aesthetic research would allow to offer a radically different perspective on the subject already studied. We are talking about masterclasses or, even, workshops that make it possible to delve into more innovative aspects in scenic research. The objective is to achieve in the field of young creation a level of self-demand at the level of the ideological and aesthetic challenges of the coming decades.

Drawing on his own experience, Jordi Casanovas will share the creative process behind each of his works: the decisions he has had to make, the mistakes he has learned from and the strategies he has built throughout his career. He will also address the real obstacles that must be overcome to turn the dramaturgy in a sustainable profession, from the relationship with theaters and directors to the management of economic and creative uncertainty.

Adapting novels to the theater is a challenge, an adventure, because next to the computer you have a work that is either a classic, or has been a success, or... In any case, you have a good text in your hands, quality raw material, and adapting a novel to the theater requires a difficult, complex and very enriching path.
Adapting novels for the theater is not a mechanical job, it is also an act of creation.
Adapting novels for the theater has helped me learn how to write theater and, at the same time, has been a very interesting career path for me as a playwright.
