- It allows access to doctoral studies, provided that the other academic requirements are met.
- It is assessed in public examinations and competitions in accordance with applicable regulations, which does not always happen with the university's own master's degrees.
- It is recognized within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), which facilitates its recognition in other countries, in accordance with the regulations of each one of them.
Like most university master's degrees, it lasts one academic year, divided into two semesters.

Temps
Writing a musical requires many hours of dedication.
During the first semester you will acquire the theoretical and practical foundations to understand the history of musical theatre, learn about the most representative composers of the genre, structure the libretto of your musical, write song lyrics and understand the construction of melodies.
This learning involves a significant amount of independent work. Each week you will have to write lyrics, melodies, songs and develop the proposed exercises.
If you currently have little time to dedicate to the Master's degree, we recommend that you wait until you can fully commit to it.
It is not essential, but highly recommended.
The curriculum includes core subjects such as Representative composers of the genre i Composition, which work on concepts such as harmony, orchestration or modes.
If this content is completely unfamiliar to you, it is likely that you will have difficulty following some parts of the program.
The Master's degree is mainly aimed at qualified musicians, composers and musical theatre performers, so a basic musical training is assumed.
If you are a playwright, we may recommend that you take a course as a listener.
It is not essential, but it is very useful.
A significant part of the bibliography and work materials are not translated. During the course we will also watch shows and analyze song lyrics in their original language.

At the end of the course we organize a backer audition, a presentation before the evaluation panel to which we also invite professionals from the theatre production sector so that you can make your project known.
