Bob Fosse, American dancer and director, was one of the great promoters of musical comedy on Broadway and in cinema, thanks to musicals such as Cabaret, Chicago and All That Jazz.
He became famous for his scenographic compositions, intentionally exaggerated and his peculiar way of arranging the dancers.
His choreographies stand out with stylistic techniques such as crossing ankles, hip thrusts, shoulder swings and leaning postures.
Aina Torné CV
Degree in dance pedagogy from the Barcelona Theater Institute (2020). Postgraduate in Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2021). Final year Master's student in DMT at the same university.
Performer and dancer in various theater and television productions (El Molino stable company, "Tengo ganas de ti", "Bienvenidos al Lolita", among others). Choreographer and movement consultant in theatrical productions ("9 to 5", "Los cinco tonos del color azul", "Monopoli", among others). Body teacher in professional trainings and in a university context (Eòlia Higher School of Dramatic Art). Participation in educational projects (Tot Dansa, promoted by the Barcelona Theater Institute, El Mercat de les Flors; Barcelona Metropolitan Dance Festival) as well as social and community projects (Barcelona Women's Penitentiary Center, Wad-Ras).
I conceive my work as a form of self-knowledge and continuous learning from the body. Understanding body pedagogy as a basic tool to acquire the physical, social and psychological skills necessary for a better experience of life.
