EÓLIA EMERGING SCENE 2026
To what extent are we the masters of our desires? When the body manifests a longing that the mind had forgotten, a woman is forced to look to her family lineage in order to discern what is her own and what is inherited.
Through a choral narrative that brings together different times and spaces, this piece explores how the experiences of our ancestors are tattooed in our DNA. A physical and poetic exploration of identity, legacy and the freedom to decide a present that does not always belong to us.

The work articulates the coexistence of different narrative times and spaces: from Valencia to Buenos Aires, from 1924 to 2024. These temporal and geographical layers are not presented literally, but rather superimposed, in a constant dialogue. In order to generate an atmosphere of echoes and resonances between the stories, the scenographic elements and props function as bridges as they are shared and reinterpreted by the different characters.
