As every year, Joan Lluís Bozzo, director of Dagoll Dagom, together with Joan Vives, musical director and composer of many of the company's shows, are the pedagogical and artistic directors of the Musical Theater Stage that we will teach, with a team of more than 4 teachers, for the eighth consecutive year, and for the fourth year in Aeolian.
From 4 to 15 in July
De 10h a 14h
Course hours: 40h
Price: € 355 / 315 € students from Eolia
For two weeks, we will give the students the tools to face the challenge of combining performance, dance and singing with the aim of making a final performance for friends and family that shows the intense work they have done throughout of those days. The experience of the whole team in this field makes this option very interesting for boys and girls who have a special interest in musical theater.
The course is developed around 45-minute daily core subjects that help each group prepare their final sample. Each group performs the 4 different subjects each day with a rotation system. Therefore, we will divide the boys and girls into 4 age groups, and each group will work on a different topic with their group and a common theme with the other participants in the Stage.
The pieces will consist of individual and group text work, and an extensive piece of music linked dramatically. As every year, both the text and the songs will be extracted or adapted from the great shows that Dagoll Dagom has premiered throughout his long career in the musical theater of this country. This year we will work Night Flower. Each piece will be distributed among the students of the group, who will have to learn and memorize the dialogues, the lyrics, the music, the choreography and the stage movements with the help of the daily work with each teacher.
At the end of the day we will spend the last time working on a choral song that will be performed by all the students in the course at the end of the show.
We will dedicate the morning of Thursday 14 July to the general rehearsals in the Sandaru Room where we will perform the final show the next day. We will give you information about groups, specific schedules, reservation of seats for the performance, and more in the coming weeks.
