Course aimed at all those interested in improving, for professional or personal needs, their verbal and corporal communication in the execution of speeches, negotiations or other types of oral presentations.

We will apply performance techniques to work on different aspects of communication: stage fright, naturalness, body blockages, lack of musicality or rhythm, creativity and conviction.

NUMBER LEVEL

Individual presentations applying theatrical performance techniques to manage stress. Collective improvisations raising awareness of non-verbal communication concepts. Disinhibition, relaxation and nervousness management exercises.

NUMBER LEVEL

Acting games to integrate and improve the techniques known at the first level. The student will have to take a prepared oral presentation of three minutes to work it based on the assumed concepts. The workshop will end with the final staging of all presentations.

Interested and passionate about the voice-body-emotion connection, the connection with nature, human communication and between species.

ÀLEX MAÑAS

Author and theater director. A graduate in Law from the UB, he is pursuing a postgraduate degree in directing acting at URL. He has been a professor of communication at the Barcelona Bar Association and since 2006 has been a doctor and biochemistry-related professional for the Dr Antoni Esteve Foundation. He has taught Film Screenwriting at the UPF Faculty of Advertising and Public Relations and has worked in seminars on writing and presenting scientific articles at the UPF Faculty of Health Sciences.
