With Jaume Ortanobas and Núria Llausí
"Mamma Mia!" is a musical jukebox based on the songs of the legendary group ABBA. The plot revolves around Sophie, an eighteen-year-old girl who is about to get married and wants her father to walk her down the aisle. The problem is, she doesn't know who her father is, as her mother, Donna, has kept the man's identity a secret. Sophie discovers her mother's diary and learns that there are three possible fathers. He invites the three men to the wedding without their mother's knowledge, triggering a series of comedic and emotional situations. ABBA's music accompanies the story, turning “Mamma Mia!” in a show full of energy and fun.

Type of work
- Assembly d'a versionó reductionïda made to measure
Our version of the montage will last approximately one hour. The huge range of characters in the original work allows us to adapt the cast to the age, gender and type of work suitable for each student. For those of you who want to act as a teenager/youth, you will be assigned a character around the age of eighteen, and for those students who want to play someone older, you can take on the role of the mature characters in the play. There will be something for all ages and tastes!
- Characteristics of the workshop
Our Mamma Mia workshop focuses on the work of the three disciplines, interpretation, singing and dancing, and their harmonization, aimed at achieving the main objective of the course: the staging of a semi-professional quality product. The level of vocal difficulty is medium-low compared to other more classical musicals, which will allow us to be ambitious in terms of the quality of the final result.
- Rigor, and also fun
This workshop is an opportunity to get a taste of what it means to take on such an ambitious task as the production of a successful musical, within a demanding work dynamic, and at the same time doing it in a relaxed, positive atmosphere, where the emotional and comedic spirit of “Mamma Mia!” will permeate all our sessions. We will learn a lot of tools of the actor/actress while having a great time doing comedy!
