INTEGRAL SINGING TECHNIQUE (ANNUAL COURSE 2022-23)

From October 3 to June 20 

Voice training through exercises designed to develop a better self-reception and ability to apply the concepts learned in everyday and artistic voice.
The work includes study of the anatomy, physiology and acoustic characteristics of the foundations of the vocal instrument.
A voice-body-expression connection work for both the sung and spoken voice, with special emphasis on the development of agility and vocal endurance to expand the palette of vocal colors and facilitate vocal challenges of greater expressive, emotional and professional demand. .

The course integrates levels 1 and 2 of Estill Voice Training® continuously.

INTENSIVE SUMMER COURSES (SEPTEMBER 2023)

Level 1: 
The Obligatory Figures

From the 4 6 September 2023
Hours: every day from 9.15am to 19.30pm
Course hours: 24h

The 1 Level Voice Craft Level offers participants the tools to experiment with the production of sound through the practice of 13 figures exercises, alternating theory sessions with practice in small groups, and the application of this work in texts and songs.

Aimed at singers and students of singing, actors, choral conductors, phonographs, speech speakers, voice professionals and people interested in understanding and exploring the possibilities of the voice. Course with official EVTS certificate. Includes the EVTS book level 1 in Spanish.

The specific program of the 1 level of the Estill Voice Craft is:

  • Introduction to Jo Estill and the history of the development of his system.
  • Workshop on anatomy and physiology.
  • Presentation of the Obligatory Figures, one by one.
  • Individualized practice of the figures in small groups.
  • Application of the work learned in texts and group songs.
  • Master Class session to apply the figures to the own repertoire (any style This intensive has a common syllabus with the Vocal Technique 1 (TV1) subject of the Eòlia's Studies Plan, but the practice and the application of the work is less.

Students who enter the Second Plan of Studies directly, must approve the TV1 exam before entering TV2. In order to prepare this exam, the support of particular classes is recommended in addition to the intensive course (musical or spoken voice).

The 6 Vocal Qualities and Masterclass

Hours: 15.30pm to 19.30pm, 9.15am to 19.30pm
Course hours: 20h

The second level of Estill Voice Craft delves into the work introduced in level 1 and introduces the combination of Figures and 6 Vocal Qualities. Alternate theoretical sessions of vocal qualities with practical sessions in small groups. The work of the figures and qualities is also applied to songs and texts in groups, and in the Master Class the individualized work is deepened.

Addressed to the students that have taken the Estill Voice Training level I (Compulsory Figures) course.

The specific program of the 2 level of the Estill Voice Craft is:

  • Review of the Obligatory Figures.
  • Presentation of Vocal Qualities.
  • Practical sessions in small groups.
  • Application of the Figures and the Qualities in the spoken song and voice.
  • Listen and videos.

Master Class session to apply Qualities to the own repertoire.
