La Odisseu Scholarship Eolia i + D It is part of the project of Creation Spaces Eolia i + D, that together with him Eòlia Theater aims to support the creation, dissemination and exhibition of new shows that need a place to rehearse, experiment, test and develop their theatrical language.

That is why we open a call open for companies to select two projects that will receive financial assistance to carry out their projects with good conditions.

The call is open to companies with development projects (linked or not to the students or the academic staff of Eòlia) who need a test space that matches the offer of testing spaces that the center makes.
The call is aimed at companies or emerging groups that have a specific project to develop (not released).

The companies that want to present their project will have to:

    1. Fill out the FULL OF APPLICATION FORM ODISSEU EOLICA I + D  and submit it, within the established deadlines, in pdf format at: comunicacio@teatreolia.cat
    2. Attach in pdf format the dossier of the project to be developed.
    3.  Curriculum of the members of the project.
    4. All the complementary information that can help in your valuation.

A company may submit more than one project to the call if it so wishes. But they must have different form entries.

2018 text bases AND ANNOUNCEMENT BECA ODISSEU_EÒLIA I + D 

2 allowances of:

  • €3.500
  • Preference in the allocation of space in the Creation Spaces Eolia R & D during 1,5 months or 2 months (according to needs).
  • 4 features at the Eòlia Theater within its professional programming.
  • Communication and dissemination of the work through our Department of Communication.

CALENDAR

  • We will receive proposals between 28 from June and 22 in July of both 2018 included.
  • The resolution of the winners will be announced from 26 on 27 in July.
  • The test season will be between September and December 2018
  • Representations at the Eòlia Theater will be:
    - From November 29 to December 2, 2018 (4 functions)
    - From 6 to 9 December 2018 (4 functions)

WHAT WILL BE VALUE?

The Eolia R & D commission that will evaluate will take into account the following qualitative concepts:

A. Originality and innovation value of the proposal.
B. Curriculum vitae and artistic tour (including training if applicable) of the applicants, who can guarantee their capacity and rigor when carrying out the proposal, from the idea to the presentation in front of an audience.
C. Participation, within the proposal of emerging talents.
D. Interest to the public, either by the interest of the contents, and / or by the communication strategy that can encourage the creation of new audiences.
E. Technical feasibility of the project.

The resolution of the winners will be announced from 26 on 31 in July of the 2018.
