Palestine in Scene II: theatre for peace and the human rights of refugee women is the second edition of this collaborative project between UNRWA (United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) of the Eolia CSAD to raise awareness and give visibility to the situation of Palestinian refugees through the performing arts.
Adam, a story of flight and arrival is the proposal for social theater and the oppressed created by the group of EOLICA Higher Center of Dramatic Art which can be seen next 1June 2 at 20pm at Espai 11.
The piece focuses on the story of Adam, a 19-year-old Palestinian who currently lives in Barcelona and studies computer science. Through stage language and audience response, the work traces the moments of fear, vulnerability and resistance that he and his family experienced in Gaza during the first months of the offensive that began in October 2023, as well as his subsequent process of arrival and adaptation in Catalonia.
